"This collection shows some intimate portraits with statues of Vladimir Lenin, found on Instagram. It's a selection of my visual research based on the question: does an icon really needs to be physically destroyed in order to be broken? An intimate or loving gesture (perhaps ironically, perhaps genuinely) towards a cold Lenin statue makes it less impressive.
